Re: [Bug 878007] [NEW] All Ctrl+Alt+Num Unity Keyboard Shortcuts not working
Output for version:
root@BigBad:/home/saltydog# compiz --version
Compiz 0.9.6
root@BigBad:/home/saltydog# unity --version
unity 4.22.0
Suspicion confirmed.
root@BigBad:/home/saltydog# ps -e | grep "unity*"
1940 ? 00:00:04 unity-2d-launch
1941 ? 00:00:02 unity-2d-panel
2024 ? 00:00:05 unity-panel-ser
2131 ? 00:00:01 unity-2d-spread
root@BigBad:/home/saltydog# ps -e | grep "compiz*"
NO OUTPUT HERE
The old laptop that this HDD drive came out of was unable to run Unity-3D
(Radeon x1300) new laptop can (Nvidia 555M 3GB). I am 100% sure that I have
chosen Ubuntu from the login screen and not Ubuntu 2d as the shell
environment. New hardware is being picked up by the kernel, Unity and Compiz
were both purged and reinstalled. Still no go. Suggestions? (besides fresh
reinstall)
As a footnote, I cannot run gnome shells properly either. The panels don't
work at all. Has to be Compiz.
