[Bug 885099] [NEW] Automatic window grid assignment triggered inadvertently

Public bug reported:

Drag mouse pointer over to either side or top seems to trigger grid to
automatically assign the next pressed app window into grid.

Steps to reproduce
1. Drag mouse pointer over to either side or top.
2. Half of the screen is highlighted and esc doesn't seem to exit the function.
3. Press an app window to terminate the annoyance factor.

Results
1. Window gets put into either half of the screen space.

Expected results
1. Drag mouse pointer over to wither side or top.
2. Nothing. No highlighting, & no resizing of any windows.

Comment
This seems to be a neat feature, only if it weren't for this inadvertent triggering. I should be able to move my mouse, any and everywhere on my desktop real estate without unexpected results popping up, especially when no buttons (keyboard or mouse-wise) have been pressed.
