[Bug 905343] [NEW] Compiz crashes in Gnome-Fallback mode after switching workspaces

Public bug reported:

I have had compiz (which I am running with "compiz --replace" as a
command after login to my Gnome 3 fallback session) crash on me a couple
of times. It usually happens after switching workspace with
ctrl+alt+arrow_key. The syslog says:

"Dec 16 15:12:59 rasmus-OptiPlex-GX620 gnome-session[1460]: WARNING: App 'compiz.desktop' respawning too quickly
Dec 16 15:12:59 rasmus-OptiPlex-GX620 gnome-session[1460]: WARNING: Error on restarting session managed app: Component 'compiz.desktop' crashing too quickly"

After the crash, I can't switch workspace anymore and window decorations
and the gnome panel are missing. I can go into a tty prompt, kill all
gnome-panel and decorator-related processes in htop and then start
metacity with "metacity --replace --display=:0" to get back to a usable
desktop.
