Message #27655
[Bug 932219] [NEW] Launching Expo is broken if Blender3D is running under compiz (until the system is restarted)
Public bug reported:
If I enter expo mode (or switch virtual Desktops) with Blender3D
running, compiz becomes unusable. I have not tried with any other 3D
programs, or with the Cube. It remains unusable until I quit blender and
start compiz again - but entering expo (even after blender is closed and
compiz restarted) causes the same problem until the system is restarted.
The bug is definitely reproducable.
Even if kill X with ctrl+alt+backspace (I enabled this on the system for issues like this) - it still happens when I log in again.
I've lost files because of it - because there is no way to recover (and my laptop screen is broken, so I'm using an external monitor with proprietary nvidia drivers, which means ttys don't show on it).
