Public bug reported:

Underlying https://code.launchpad.net/~sil2100/compiz-plugins-
main/terminate_button/+merge/97696 is a problem with compiz trying to
use uninitialized options.

There should be some default behaviour that can clearly identify this
type of error without a crash for end users.
