Public bug reported:

1. Log in to ubuntu classic with desktop effects
2. Open a window
3. Use the key combo ctrl+alt+shift+arrow to switch virtual desktop while grabbing the window.
4. Try this with a few different applications and window sizes.
5. The animation is laggy and the window doesn't always end up on the same location on the new desktop. It might even stay on the desktop you moved from. This is very annoying if you often use this key combo.

This is reproducible on different computers with different graphics
cards. It wasn't a problem in gnome2 and interestingly the same thing
works perfectly under Unity.
