[Bug 994217] Re: [regression]Smart Window placement places all new windows in the top-left corner

** Description changed:

Whenever I launch applications, they start in the top-left corner.

The behavior I expected was that it remember the last position or open
somewhere where my attention is likely to be (i.e. somewhere more in the
  center).

- This behavior was working correctly in 11.10
+ Once the first window is launched in the corner, subsequent windows are
+ placed more 'smartly' (usually around that general area.
+
+ This behavior was more 'center/expectation'-oriented in 11.10

  Compiz 0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1
  Ubuntu 12.04

** Summary changed:

- [regression]Smart Window placement places all new windows in the top-left corner
+ [regression]Smart Window placement places new windows in the top-left corner
