Public bug reported:

On my Ubuntu 12.04 I enabled the fade focus effect in compiz, but
windows flicker when I switch between them. When I focus another window,
it comes forth, but the other window flashes up for a moment. It's very
annoying, like the rotate cube flicker bug.

using Compiz 0.9.7.8.
