[Bug 1087958] [NEW] Unity Plugin Not Working on SUpported Hardware (Intel GMA 950)

Public bug reported:

I get this error message in the '.xsession-errors' file:

"Info: Unity is not supported by your hardware. Enabling software
rendering instead (slow)."

However, this hardware supports OpenGL 1.4, which should make it
supported.

>From lshw:

"description: VGA compatible controller
product: Mobile 945GSE Express Integrated Graphics Controller
vendor: Intel Corporation"

And glxinfo:

"OpenGL vendor string: Intel Open Source Technology Center
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 945GME x86/MMX/SSE2
OpenGL version string: 1.4 Mesa 9.0"

This is for Quantal, compiz version 1:0.9.8.4+bzr3412-0ubuntu0.1 and
Unity 6.10.0-0ubuntu2

Unity should use Hardware Rendering.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
