Public bug reported:

When a window opens "maximized", a one-pixel empty column exists on the right side of window, showing desktop wallpaper, mixed up with vertical scrollbar.
Unmaximizing and maximizing the window again makes it right (see the attachment).
This occures for all applications open maximized, such as Banshee, Files, Firefox, SMPlayer, Thunderbird and so on.
