[Bug 1164815] [NEW] compiz crashes minutes after login for no reason

Public bug reported:

I just log in. Thats all. Within 3 minutes or so the screen goes empty
(except for the desktop background) no windows or unity. After a few
seconds unity and all my windows come back with a box saying 'compiz-
core has crashed send error report?' From then on everything is fine.
Weird.
