[Bug 1173690] [NEW] compiz profile defaults to unity after upgrade to 13.04

 

Public bug reported:

After upgrade to raring, compiz profile defaults to unity including the unity plugin enabled.
This means that a user is greeted with a blank unity screen when a different session type such as mate
is used.

Steps to repeat

1) Choose quantal installation with default Xsession other than unity (eg., mate or KDE) and empty unity environment (!).
2) Upgrade to raring.
3) Compiz profile has changed to unity and user faces blank screen after login.
