[Bug 1191900] [NEW] Compiz crashes frequently when editing in CompizConfigSettingsManager
Public bug reported:
Attached are some logs of Compiz crashing when activating or
deactivating pretty much any plugin in CompizConfigSettingsManager. In
this case it's when deactivating or re-activating EnhancedZoom
After restarting Compiz, everything seems to be back to normal, but the
crash would be a real problem for someone who doesn't know the
CTRL+ALT+F1 trick to get a terminal, and knows how to run...
export DISPLAY=:0
compiz --replace
...which is how I get the window manager back.
