[Bug 1310145] [NEW] applications do not activate from the launcher after the first activation

 

Public bug reported:

Once Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Desktop session is activated the following is a
problem:

If an application icon is clicked on the Application Launcher, the
application is activated - as would be expected.

If the SAME application is closed, then opened a second time, from the
Applicaiton Launcher, the application DOES NOT RUN.

No applications work from the Application Launcher when activated more
than once during a session for Ubuntu 14.04 LTS...
