Message #53344
[Bug 1414540] [NEW] compiz does not swallow mousewheel hotkeys properly when dealing with smooth scrolling
Public bug reported:
When dealing with high-resolution smooth scrolling devices, e.g. some Logitech
mice after being configured with Solaar, and scrolling on touchpads, Compiz's
scroll-based hotkeys are not properly isolated from Gtk+3 applications.
For example, in Gtk3 nautilus, try using Super+Scroll or Alt+Scroll to zoom
in/out or change the window opacity, while the cursor rests above a scrollable
area. Notice that doing that with a normal mouse properly swallows the scroll
events so that they don't hit the Nautilus window, but compiz does not do the
same for smooth-scrolling devices.
