Hello Ferdinand,

I don't agree with you. We should allow to cancel the journal entries
and it's only possible when we have installed the account_cancel module.

In Journal we have "Allow canceling entires"  boolean filed and it's only visible, When we have installed account_cancel module.
If I want to cancel the  journal entries then first I have to true this field then and then only I can cancel the journal entires.

Now your another point which is related to delete the journal entries.
For that we can allow to delete only those entires which is on
"Unposted" state and also which entires doesn't related with invoice.

If we trying to delete the posted entry then it will gives us warning
like "You can not delete a posted journal entry "EXJ/2012/004"!"

So all are working fine and would you please check it again and notify
us where you faced the problem.

Bug description:
  1) posted journal entries / items must not be cancelable 
  2) canceled items must not be deletable  

  there is a module account_cancel which must be installed to allow this
  "forbidden" option.

  in general " posted account move lines must never been canceled and
  deleted" to conform best accounting practice
