I received a PM on the forums this afternoon from Mehall, contents:

Hey Philip,

I know I already suggested myself as a future mod, but I'd like to
suggest future IRC op as well.

We're having a bit of an issue atm with one or two people, and it just
reminds us on the IRC that we're a quickly goring channel, and that
some of the old ops aren't around as much as they used to be.

Well, I for one, am. Even when I'm not posting actively, I'm idling
with it in my yakuake window, so I can quickly check for any issues.

Just... throwin' my hat into the ring.

P.S. Even if you don't make me mod, I still suggest adding SOMEONE
else. Since we are a modern, growing distro, we do need proper
moderation of both the forum, and the IRC. I know we're fairly
informal, but all it takes is one person pushing it, and nobody to have
the authority to make them stop.

As you are all probably aware, I am not the most active of IRC users
and so I thought it best to consult with those that are. So, does
anyone have any thoughts about this?
