Yesterday, it took me about 3 hours to upgrade to Microsoft VC++ Express
2008 SP1 (it is ultra-huge and took ages to install and then it couldn't
reboot when it should on vanilla Vista SP1... Well, it's Windows, I
don't blame it), but in the end I didn't have time to test CF.

I am certainly interested in automation so that I can provide some real
help. The problem is that I do not have a dedicated always-on box, so I
can only deliver experimental builds on demand.

Does anybody have a mighty networked box + a spare Windows licence? I
wonder whether it's a good idea to set up few major OSes like Linux
(Ubuntu?), FreeBSD and Windows on the same box using XEN (never actually
tried that?!) or maybe few VirtualBox'en on Xvnc? This way we're going
to spare a lot of hardware and get direct access to the valuable testing
data for all major OSes at the same time.

( Russian wiki that covers XEN among others: http://xgu.ru/wiki/Xen )

Finally, I was about to ask whether it is possible to build stuff from
console with MSVC, but I have already found some interesting info here:
