Hallo Daniel,

I am sorry,  but the disk on which l had installed & carefully configured
Ubuntu 24.04.2 showed errors today and l could no longer start Ubuntu.

I will have to repair or replace the disk and then generate the report you
requested.

By the way, also when l tested this Ubuntu version from a memory stick,
there was no sound.

  No sound in Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After installing Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS on my Intel NUC mini destop PC, no sound output was available anymore. Neither in any sound-producing apps nor in the soundtest in settings.
  I must add that at the same time sound works perfectly on my HP notebook with the very same Ubuntu version installed. 

  With help from Chatgpt I tried multiple possible solutions and finally
  found one that worked: I switched back to PulseAudio from
  PipeWire/WirePlumber.
