Re: [Bug 2115642] Re: snapshot app not detecting camera as regular user, segfaults as root
Hi Nick,
not sure which command is "cam --list" is it a argument for "snapshot"?
anyway i ran this, apparently there are cam devices detected:
*$ v4l2-ctl --list-devicesipu6 (PCI:0000:00:05.0): /dev/video0 /dev/video1*
*[...]/dev/video31 /dev/media0Web Camera - HD: Web Camera - H
(usb-0000:00:14.0-6): /dev/video32 /dev/video33 /dev/media1*
But the command says that there was no sensor found for /dev/media0:
$ snapshot
[...]
[0:07:26.712925495] [8023] INFO Camera camera_manager.cpp:327 libcamera
v0.4.0
*[0:07:26.722742733] [8059] INFO SimplePipeline simple.cpp:1581 No sensor
found for /dev/media0*
Strangely, camera is indeed showed when running he command as root (even
whith the same "*No sensor found for /dev/media0"* message so perhaps this
is not related with the error). In this case, after a few seconds the app
crashes with a segfault.
