Thank you, This issue is happening so often now that I am forced to
change to another file manager even I don't like the Nemo UI so much.
Today I also see sometimes duplicate file names in a  folder that
disappeared after F5. I cannot trust what Nautilus shows anymore. One
thing is that my remaining disk space on the boot drive is running low
(6GB left), but the issue is happening on folder on another ext4 drive
with lots of space. I will try to clean up the boot drive to see what
happens.

  apt-cache show mutter | grep Version

  How to reproduce
  -----------------

  Create a folder A
  create a folder B
  Create a files (echo "test" > test)
  Show the folders as a tree
  Move one file from  one to the other folder
  Both files are now shown while the file does actually not exists.
  Press F5 to refresh
  The moved file is gone (this view is now correct)

  This is not 100% reproduceable, but happens very very frequently (> 50% of the time)
  Also similar issues exits with deleting files, copy/paste etc...

  This is very basic UI issue and confuses the user which files actually exist.
