Title:
Evolution CA Certificate import does not work for LDAP servers
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: evolution
Ubuntu 10.10 - The Maverick Meerkat
Evolution 2.30.3
When connecting to an LDAP server using TLS (to use as a contact
source within Evolution) there is no GUI available to import a
Certificate Authority or ignore an invalid certificate.
The only way to use LDAP and TLS in Evolution is to manually edit the
ldap.conf file (by adding 'TLS_REQCERT never' or the local location
of the CA cert etc.).
I would expect, when using Evolution's Certificate import preferences
that importing a CA cert there would cause Evolution (or the LDAP
client) to accept the TLS connection.
