  Gnome Desktop takes forever to load

Status in “gdm” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gdm

  
  1) Ubuntu 10.04-LTS- the Lucid Lynx
  2) Gnome 1:2.28+1ubuntu3
  3) After login the desktop should load instantly
  4) Instead, after the login the desktop takes almost 30 seconds to load

  This is my first bug report, so if you need any more information I am
  willing to provide it
