Title:
When the system starts up from a suspend my laptop display brightness
is always reduced
Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
When the system starts up from a suspend my laptop display brightness
is always reduced to about 50%. I then have to use the brightness
applet to restore the displays brightness to full.
I would expect for the brightness setting to be restored to what it
was prior to the suspend.
I am running:
Ubuntu: Release 9.10
Kernel: 2.6.31-14-generic
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-56
Video card: Nvidia
Nvidia Driver: version 185.18.36
Using X Screens
