Message #06285
[Bug 836317] [NEW] Can't add the "Main Menu" applet to the panel
Public bug reported:
On Ubuntu 11.10 Alpha 3 (Gnome session fallback), I try to add the "Main
Menu" applet to the panel:
"Alt+right-click" > "Add to Panel..." > "Main Menu (The main GNOME
menu)"
but nothing happens. No menu is added. If I run gnome-panel on a
terminal and try to add the "Main Menu" applet, there's the following
output:
> Unknown menu scheme, cannot load menu button
Note that I can add the "Menu Bar" applet. Only the "Main Menu" applet
doesn't work.
** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
