Title:
Metacity fails to start on log in
Status in “metacity” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: metacity
For some reason, after a reboot, no window manager would load on
startup. Every time I would have to open a terminal, use the metacity
--replace command, then compiz. The only workaround I've found is to
add compiz to the startup applications.
