Title:
  wnck-applet shows rotated monitor layout

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-system-tools

I've got monitor with pivot (rotating one). I used it in vertical
position for a few days, so I've switched rotation in the Monitor
  Settings.

After a few days I've decided to rotate it again, so I did that. But
during bootup process, my monitor was still in the vertical position.

After rotating it to normal (horizontal) position everything works
well, except the fact that monitor layout that still shows vertical
  desktops.
