Title:
Evolution Calendar appointments not showing
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: evolution
After several days of successfully running a newly installed Ubuntu
9.10 with Evolution 2.28.1, new appointment entries in Evolution
Calendar have stopped showing in any Calendar view, and previously
entered, and showing, appointments and tasks have disappeared from all
views.
Starting Evolution from a terminal gives multiple lines of '**
(evolution : 5799) : CRITICAL ** : atk object_set_name : assertion
'name !=NULL' failed ' but the package otherwise appears to start and
run correctly, except as above.
On installing an alternative calendar - the Lighning extension to
Thunderbird - all appointments entered in Evolution were correctly
imported into, and shown, in Lightning.
