Message #101172
[Bug 1422349] [NEW] opening consecutive OTF files duplicates "Info" and "install" buttons. E.g. opening 3 consecutive .otf files will result in 6 buttons (4 of which are duplicates.)
Public bug reported:
Browsing a directory of fonts (using Thunar) I noticed that the Info and
Install buttons in the font viewer were being duplicated. Presumably
each button still maintains the correct font-opened-at-that-time
relationship but it doesn't seem like this behavior is desired because
there is no clear indication as to which button will install which font
(whether the leftmost button is the earliest opened font file, or the
rightmost... is unclear)
suggestions: Info and Install buttons should clearly state "Install
____.otf" where the blank in the font name in question
or,
just make sure the buttons work for the currently opened font and don't
duplicate for successive (or remain for previous) font files that were
opened.
