Title:
  Random popping when on battery

Status in pulseaudio package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
When running my laptop on battery there are random, quiet popping
sounds coming from the speaker. I cannot see if any app might be
causing this but it does not occur when plugged into the mains.

The sound panel doesn't show any apps accessing the sound but I'm not
sure if it picks them all up.

  This didn't occur in Natty.
