Message #106929
[Bug 1432404] [NEW] 15.04 radial blur is washed out / pixalated
Public bug reported:
The 15.04 background looks ok in HD.
The left half is fine as well as the top right:
- the origami angles are precise and the purle hues and shadows are
even, distinct and visible without artifacts.
However, the bottom right is aweful:
- the orange glow has savere pixalation / compression artifacts.
Instead of looking like a gradiem it looks like aquarelle storkes. Given
the exact origami lines i think/hope aquarelle effect is unintentional
and was introduced as a side effect of optimising the original images.
Can original artwork be published and/or reoptimised, with reduced
artifacts (e.g. apply more blur?!)
