Message #111972
[Bug 1442390] [NEW] Firefox turns my pointer into this...
Public bug reported:
Firefox version 34, 35, 36, 37...
Xubuntu 14.10
Xubuntu is fully up-to-date, so all packages are the latest versions as of today's date.
This bug is caused by dragging things in Firefox. I've reproduced it by
dragging text (by accident) and by dragging (moving) things in
[hambuger] -> Customise.
I've attached a photo of the gone-wrong pointer. I tried to take a
screenshot, but the pointer was normal in the screenshot.
The gone-wrong pointer in the photograph is the result of dragging the
'Linky' (add-on) icon in [hamburger] -> Customise, but dragging any icon
has the same effect. The mis-shapen pointer on the top-left of the photo
is the 'real' pointer, that can be used to click on things.
This problem persists even after Firefox is closed. The only way to stop
it is to reboot the computer.
** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
** Attachment added: "Photograph of gone-wrong pointer abomination"
