The Ubuntu version you are using is no longer supported, please upgrade
to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or higher and let us know if this is still a
problem.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: cups

  hp deskjet 1120C printer which worked well since last few ubuntu updates. just prints several pages "random" character instead of a testpage.
  i think something went wrong with the last packege updates.
  used driver is "HP Deskjet 1120 hpijs, 3.10.6"

  its like the data is interpreted wrong!
