suspend and indicator applet locks screen
Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
1) go to /apps/gnome-power-manager/lock in the gconf editor
2) unclick all the boxes.
3) choose suspend under the indicator applet.
4) awake computer.
5) see that the screen is locked despite the choice made in the gconf editor
NOTE: when you suspend by pressing the power button and choosing
"Suspend" there is no screen lock
