Title:
no throbber when "Hide Toolbars" is active
Status in “epiphany-browser” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: epiphany-browser
Epiphany has the wonderful option of hiding its toolbars all in one click.
Now, when the toolbars are hidden, it is quite easy to show them again temporarily, by doing a simple CTRL+L.
Unfortunately, the indicators for page loading activity i.e. a
throbber and the progress bar inside the location bar are invisible in
this mode, so the only indication of site loading progress in this
moment is the text in the status bar.
If the status bar is disabled also, there is no way of knowing whether
a click was successful and the browser is actually loading the desired
content.
When > 1 tabs are open, there is a tiny throbber on tabs that are
loading content. This of course is also not available in single
document view.
