[Bug 1451410] [NEW] failure

Public bug reported:

Possible conflicts in using Synaptic Package Manager and other s.w.
Also, Arduino is not functioning. It is dedicated to AVR platform only
and Microsoft. Tried terminal edit but did not work.  Bleach Bit is new
for me but seems to have compatibility issues as well.I use  Ubuntu
14.04. Tried the 15.04 but crashed my o.s.
