[Bug 1452373] [NEW] Keyboard language switching shortcut doesn't work

In lightdm's login page the shortcut keys for switching the keyboard language don't work.
As a result, every time you resume from suspend or want to unlock the computer you have to use your mouse to switch the language back to English in order to enter your password. Having to do this every time is slow and frustrating.
