  gnome-session no longer auto saves session

Status in gnome-session package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  After upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04 previously running applications
  are no longer restarted on login.  This behavior used to be controlled
  by an option in gnome-sesssion-properties to "Automatically remember
  running applications when logging out" but that option no longer
  exists
