Title:
should warn/disable xdamage X.org extensions for 'some video drivers'

Status in vino package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: vino

XDamage X.org extension does not work properly on some video drivers when using 3D effects, causing vnc connections to fail.
If the installed video driver is known to have this problem, the XDamage extension should be disabled by default.
If it is uncertain, the user should be given a warning of the potential for vnc graphics to not display properly.
