[Bug 1460067] [NEW] Attaching files to event invitations does not work in Thunderbird extension Lightning

Public bug reported:

Use case: The user wants to attach documents to an event invitation.
Expected behaviour: The user clicks the Attach button, selects files in the browser. The files are then transmitted with the invitation when it is send. This is the same behaviour as for plain email attachments.
Current behaviour: After the user clicks the Attach button, the full path to the document has to be entered in the mask "Enter a web page, or document location". No browsing is available. Despite entering the path to the document, the attachments are not transmitted.
Change request: Please enable the same attachment functionality to event invitations that is available for plain mails. If this cannot be implemented with reasonable effort, then at least remove or rename the Attach button in the event invitation as it is confusing.
