Message #121599
[Bug 1460997] [NEW] Wastebasket / Trash can't handle long file names
Public bug reported:
Can't delete files with names longer than 131 characters.
Thunar says:
"File operation in progress
Moving files into the wastebasket...
Unable to create wastebasket info file
File name too long"
Using 'rm' on the command line does delete the file.
gvfs-trash, however, produces the same error on the command line:
"Error deleting file: Unable to create wastebasket info file: File name
too long".
** Affects: gvfs (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
