Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce the problem:

Prerequirement is a google account and at least one calendar that is
accessable by Thunderbird.

1. Install Ubuntu 15.04.
2. Install Thunderbird
3. Install Lightning using: sudo apt-get install xul-ext-lightning
(as depending package also xul-ext-gdata-provider is installed in step 3.)
4. Open Thunderbird and try to configure the existing google calendar by using "New Calendar" -> "Network" -> "Google Calendar" -> Enter a URL you got from the preferences at the google calendar website -> You are asked for credentials but whatever you try it is not stored!
5. chack the version of the addon (Menu "Extras" -> "Addons" -> "Provider for Google Calendar"

Current result: It is version 0.33
Expected result: It should be version 1.0.2 or above.

Please ensure that a working (latest?) version of this plugin is going
to be installed or remove the dependencies for the lighning package
(xul-ext-lightning) and remove the xul-ext-gdata-provider package!

Workaround: Go to the Addon page and open the "more" link next to the
addon description. The addon page will be opened and you are able to use
the big green button to install the current version.
