[Bug 841761] Re: unable to set keyboard shortcuts

 

Unfortunately, there isn't enough information here for developers to fix
your bug or even to reproduce it. Have you tried rebooting. Which
keyboard shortcut in particular doesn't work?

Open System Settings and click Keyboard. Switch to the Shortcuts tab.
Select a shortcut then click the shortcut (a second time) and type the
keyboard combination or press Backspace to disable the shortcut.

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  System Settings->Shortcuts. The shortcuts do not respond when trying to edit a shortcut, nor is there any response when pressing Backspace to clear.
  Problem is present in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot).
