[Bug 1468017] Re: GNOME Apps Have Corrupted Fonts

I have reported this against thunderbird but this problem seems to occur
on any GNOME/GTK app (e.g. thunderbird, firefox, terminal, Pdgin, etc.)

** Package changed: ubuntu => thunderbird (Ubuntu)

Title:
  GNOME Apps Have Corrupted Fonts

Status in thunderbird package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
GNOME seems to randomly corrupt fonts. The glyphs are corrupted
consistently for a session but if I logout and log back in different
ones will be corrupted. It also seems to be affected by the zoom
  level. See http://askubuntu.com/questions/626568/corrupted-fonts for
screenshots. Chromium doesn't seem to be affected by this.
