Title:
7.6+7ubuntu7.1 xorg update makes system slow and unresponsive
Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
hi,
this morning i upgraded the following packages:
xserver-xorg-video-all:amd64
xserver-xorg-input-all:amd64
xserver-xorg:amd64
xorg:amd64
x11-common:amd64
from 7.6+7ubuntu7 to 7.6+7ubuntu7.1.
after the next reboot both unity and gnome-shell desktops were
extremely slow and unresponsive, basically unusable.
i have reverted these packages to the previous 7.6+7ubuntu7 version
and now everything seems back to normal.
