[Bug 1471185] [NEW] xorg-server image byte order on big endian hardware is incorrect
Public bug reported:
The image byte order on big endian hardware is incorrect and this is
evident in the Ubuntu MATE 15.10 alpha 1 and daily images where many
bitmap images are corrupt. This issue has recently been fixed in Debian.
* https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=785474
Please consider applying the associated upstream commit [1] in Ubuntu
(also attached as a patch) or merge the Debian (unstable) release of
xorg-server (2:1.17.2-1), which fixes this issue and several others.
xorg-server (2:1.17.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium
