  Thunderbird 24 spell checking is not working

Bug description:
  Thunderbird 24 Dictionary while typing stops working when upgrading from version 17 to 24.
  When you start the software it works like a charm and after a small amount of time it just  stops spell-checking and leaving obvious words like "hoadddd" as an OK word.
