Title:
  DejaDup application UI not visible

Status in deja-dup package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  DejaDup should run a weekly backup. The application seems to start
  (there's a blue arrow on the left of the icon in unitys launcher).
  Also the processes are running:

  $ ps awxu|grep deja
  myuser       4585  0.0  0.0  40144  3840 ?        Sl   08:37   0:00 /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/deja-dup/deja-dup-monitor
  myuser       4875  0.0  0.4 283984 17520 ?        SNl  08:39   0:00 deja-dup --backup --auto

  But when I click the icon, nothing happens.
  DejaDup should do a backup on a full encrypted external harddisk. With older versions, DejaDup asked for the password and started the backup.

  To reproduce the bug, kill all dejadup processes and start dejadup
  with:

  $ deja-dup --backup --auto

  
  With gnome-shell, the UI to ask for the password appears.
