Title:
  after locking the screen, only the cursor works

Status in gdm package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  The login screen does not come again. The mouse works, the save screen
  halt. Is only possible to shutdown remotely via ssh, not on the local
  terminal. The mouse cursor is visible and we can change is position on
  the screen when moving the mouse, but that's that. If I press a return
  key, I can see the cursor changing to a well.

  Also I have this on the log

  Sometimes the screen is a complete mess. Everything is wipe out and
  it's not possible to read anything.

  Maybe some library is missing or a file ?
