Bug description:
  Unity 3.4.6
  Compiz 0.9.4

  Consider removing the desktop icons when the expo plugin is active.
  The icons are superfluous for the task at hand (switching workspaces
  and windows between them) and only add visual clutter. Perhaps the
  wallpaper should also be removed and replaced with a single color just
  to add more focus to the task.
